Southern California sun on shaggy palm trees, what's not to like?
I took the reference photo on a long walk. One of those palms is lit at night with one of those turning light color wheels, like on a Christmas tree. I have no idea how anyone got up so high.
Beach Party was juried into the 2025 Annual Show of the Malibu Art Association at the Tracy Park Gallery in Malibu, CA. It was also selected for the 98th Annual Pasadena Society of Artists exhibition at the Creative Arts Group Gallery in Sierra Madre, CA.
It is already framed in a custom caramel-colored wooden frame to give it a sort of retro beachy vibe. It's wired and ready to hang.
